Madalena was originally created in 2001 as a mining exploration company. In February of 2006 a new management team joined Madalena to focus our attention on international exploration and development opportunities. In May and June of 2006 a seismic development program and exploration opportunity was obtained in the Hammamet and Ramada Sud exploration blocks in Tunisia. In South America, strategic alliances with local operators have given Madalena the opportunity to jointly bid on significant concessions for large exploration and development blocks in Argentina.
Our strategy is to grow the company by continuing to evaluate and develop exploration and development
opportunities in Tunisia and South America through our strategic alliances with local exploration and
development companies.
